This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Document Control Specialist for our Portland, OR office. Be involved in projects with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

  • Provide comprehensive management of construction administration projects.
  • Review and update project documentation.
  • Maintain logs of contract documents and project records.
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Process contractor pay estimates.
  • Upload documents to the project's construction management document control site.
  • Review certified payroll and other documentation for compliance.
  • Assist with submittal reviews for compliance with contract documents.
  • Assist with review of material test reports for contract compliance.
  • Review material submittals for contract compliance.
  • Assist with responses to contractor submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Experiences with ODOT Construction Administration Specialist responsibilities
  • Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
  • Valid state Driver's license
  • Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in closely related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience with construction administration duties on large construction projects
  • Experience with Labor Compliance and verification of Certified Payrolls
