Job Summary: Acts as project manager by clearly communicating and collaboratively guiding the account team to execute customer specific initiatives which deliver unique value. Executes client specific business plans and service timelines including developing programs and initiatives that support the client’s exposures, goals, and objectives. (Similar to Account Manager. Clients are larger and/or more complex risks that require a team support model)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handle day to day service related issues for key accounts 100 employee groups
  • Assist producers in analytics and data analysis on key groups
  • Coordinate components of self-funded clients including stop loss RFP's, ASO agreements, wellness and cost containment programs
  • Assist in coordination of quarterly meetings, including claim reviews, of key accounts
  • Coordination with actuaries on self-funded groups
  • Help with open enrollment timelines and meetings for key groups
  • Attend planning and board meetings with producers on key accounts

Personal & Organizational Development

  • Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of renewals, changes, transactions, etc.
  • Maintain cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts
  • Keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and proprietary information
  • Utilize and manage technical products and applications

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Must maintain a General Lines Life & Health license
  • College education or equivalent insurance experience
  • Knowledge of insurance products and usages.
  • Ability to communicate and understand orally and in writing with others; explain complex or abstract issues, receive, and interpret complex information and respond appropriately
  • Strong presentation skills including preparation, execution, and delivery of materials

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: High school or equivalent
