Job Responsibilities
- Deploy, administer, maintain, and upgrade environments which are used in the support of desktop systems (virtual and physical, Win/MAC), associated support tools and applications.
- Evaluate, communicate, and deployment of global configuration changes for corporate owned workstations
- Configure, package, test and maintain desktop application software, as appropriate.
- Develop, evaluate, and plan process automation for desktop and systems administrative functions and monitoring for a majority remote workforce.
- Update, create, and maintain detailed documentation for tools and systems.
- Analyze, deploy, monitor, and report MS and 3 rd Party patching for enterprise vulnerability remediation
- Functions as the primary technical liaison between Infrastructure and other IT teams, vendors, partners, as well as the business to design Desktop/Infrastructure solutions
- Monitor the performance of the company's desktop infrastructure and make suggestions for improving efficiency.
- Research, recommend, and implement solutions to improve and keep current the desktop experience
- Provides technical support to the Field Support Analysts.
- Active Directory, vulnerability patching, Ivanti EPM or SCCM, VMWare VCenter and Horizon View (VDI), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Enterprise AV and encryption applications.
- 3 years of hand-on desktop administration or engineering experience.
- Windows PowerShell or Windows Scripting Host
- Ability to plan, develop, and coordinate multiple projects and tasks while delivering within required deadlines.
- Strong MS Excel and data analytics experience
- Develop, document, modify and train global IT personnel on enterprise computing process’ and standard operating procedures.
- Azure AD Experience
- Intune / Autopilot Experience
- Group Policy and Domain Management Experience
- Enterprise Mac management experience
