JOB TITLE: Engineering Manager - HRP

JOB LOCATION: Company Headquarters in Burlington, Massachusetts 01803. REMOTE EMPLOYMENT AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION. CAN TELECOMMUTE FROM ANY LOCATION IN THE UNITED STATES.

REQUIRED TRAVEL: 5% domestic travel required per year to Burlington, Massachusetts Headquarters for collaboration weeks.

REQUIRED HOURS: Full-time.

Required Duties

  • Leading agile cross functional software development teams.
  • Analyzing, designing, and developing products in the healthcare payer market.
  • Building upon company’s market-leading products and creating a suite of data products based on company’s core systems.
  • Preparing software development milestones and sprint plans to achieve project goals.
  • Managing product scope, development, quality, and schedules.
  • Managing all phases of software development lifecycle.
  • Managing stakeholders, communication, and risk mitigation.
  • Implementing best practices in software development.
  • Managing product/technology innovation, evolution, and trade-offs.
  • Leading software developers by example, coaching and evaluating employee performance, setting expectations and goals for department and individual team members, recruiting, motivating, and training staff.

Experience And Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 6 years of employment experience.

Employment Experience Must Include

  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated employment experience building and managing teams.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated employment experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed, highly available, data-driven enterprise software applications.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated employment experience with Java, WebLogic, Oracle RDBMS based applications.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated employment experience building applications using Microservices architecture.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated employment experience building cloud native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • A minimum of 6 years of demonstrated employment experience with full DevOps lifecycle (CI, CD and CM), containerization and virtualization.
  • A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated employment experience with data technologies.
