Our client is currently seeking a Front End Engineer II. 100% remote working with great management, lots of opportunity for new development and working with high performing teams. They have legacy apps that run in Ember, but all new development is in React. They look for Engineers with strong fundamentals in JavaScript who can really learn any language and work in a fast paced scrum environment
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $50 - $60 / hr. w2
Responsibilities
W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities
- Find solutions for bugs
- Design applications utilizing Ember.js
- Test for security and improvements
- Provide support to web development team
- Validate for compliancy
- Write clean, reusable code
- Take part in code reviews
- Continuously recommend improvements
- Maintain code libraries
- Convert mockups into reusable components
- Write new JavaScript plugins
- 3 years experience in front end development with Javascript
- Ability to code from scratch in JS without relying on frameworks
- Experience building websites that adhere to mobile-first functionality and fluid layouts
- Experience writing clean, reusable, optimized, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience building websites
- BA or BS degree required
- Bachelors Degree
