Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy Microsoft Office add-ins that integrate with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Leverage Microsoft Office JavaScript API to build robust and secure add-in functionality.
- Ensure the add-in adheres to best practices in performance, security, and user experience.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver an intuitive and efficient user interface.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to the Office add-in, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft Office development frameworks, APIs, and security protocols.
- Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details for internal and external use.
- Provide support and maintenance post-deployment, including handling updates and feature enhancements.
- Strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript development outside of the browser.
- Experience interfacing with backend services using RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of basic cryptographic primitives, or a drive to learn them.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Office API.
