Overview

Intrepid Solutions has open a GEOINT Systems Engineer position supporting our US Army TENCAP client to helpenable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architecturesin Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

The GEOINT Analyst shall:

• Provide assessments and evaluations on performance and feasibility of existing and proposed Terrestrial, Aerial, and Space-based GEOINT components of architectures, including identification of performance, cost, and schedule risk, and prepare recommendations for consideration.
• Participate in forums with external organizations concerning employment, acquisition, and development of GEOINT collection, processing exploitation, and dissemination systems.
• Recommend and evaluate GEOINT policy, architecture, requirements, and system development decisions for client staff.
• Provide GEOINT expertise on the operations of GEOINT systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Participate in GEOINT portions of training.
  
  

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.
  
  

TRAVEL:

• Limited or minimal travel expected.
  
  

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  
  

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline; ORAssociate's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline 4 years of work experience; OR6 years of work experience.
  
  

CERTIFICATION(S):

• Certified GIS Professional (GISP) certification, National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) GEOINT Professional certification, Army GEOINT / Imagery Analyst Leadership Course, or Army Foundry GEOINT training or comparable certification preferred.
  
  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 7 years of experience as a GEOINT Analyst in the Intelligence Community (IC) or DOD, OR a minimum of 7 years of experience providing subject matter expertise to DoD GEOINT programs / projects.
• Experience on the operation of National and Tactical GEOINT systems and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures recommended.

Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
