Responsibilities
The GEOINT Analyst shall:
- Provide assessments and evaluations on performance and feasibility of existing and proposed Terrestrial, Aerial, and Space-based GEOINT components of architectures, including identification of performance, cost, and schedule risk, and prepare recommendations for consideration.
- Participate in forums with external organizations concerning employment, acquisition, and development of GEOINT collection, processing exploitation, and dissemination systems.
- Recommend and evaluate GEOINT policy, architecture, requirements, and system development decisions for client staff.
- Provide GEOINT expertise on the operations of GEOINT systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Participate in GEOINT portions of training.
- This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.
- Limited or minimal travel expected.
CLEARANCE:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline; ORAssociate's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline 4 years of work experience; OR6 years of work experience.
- Certified GIS Professional (GISP) certification, National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) GEOINT Professional certification, Army GEOINT / Imagery Analyst Leadership Course, or Army Foundry GEOINT training or comparable certification preferred.
- 7 years of experience as a GEOINT Analyst in the Intelligence Community (IC) or DOD, OR a minimum of 7 years of experience providing subject matter expertise to DoD GEOINT programs / projects.
- Experience on the operation of National and Tactical GEOINT systems and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures recommended.
