Job Description
CDM Smith is seeking to enhance our team to primarily support FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Technical Assistance Program (HMTAP), Hazard Mitigation Assistance Program (HMA), and the potential to support other related contracts with the U.S.
This opportunity is slated for an emerging professional ready to take on increasing responsibilities under the mentorship of more senior staff.
Projects include providing technical assistance to FEMA grant programs, policy and guidance development support, applied research, and environmental compliance activities with both FEMA Headquarters and FEMA Regional offices.
Projects are located throughout the U.S. and its territories.
This is a hybrid-office/full-remote position with some travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
3 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field
Experience with grant writing and management
Prior experience with FEMA’s HMTAP or HMA Programs
