Key Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Work directly with children in a clinic setting, using engaging and evidence-based techniques to promote independence and skill development.
- Collaborate with the OT, families, and other therapy team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Educate and support parents and caregivers by demonstrating therapy techniques and providing guidance for home-based activities.
- Document and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, progress notes, and patient responses in compliance with clinic policies.
- Stay informed on best practices in pediatric occupational therapy through professional development and training opportunities.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions to contribute to the child's overall treatment plan.
