We're looking for a home health RN to perform weekly lab draws for a TPN patient in Grand Junction, CO. While TPN knowledge is required, the RN will not be responsible for administering it.
Infusion Details
- Service Required: Lab draw, IV line maintenance and dressing change - CBC w diff, CMP, MG, Phos, CRP, Triglycerides, and Prealbumin (3 month labs will be completed outpatient)
- Location: Grand Junction, CO 81504
- Frequency: Weekly on Mondays on Tuesdays
- Monday or Tuesday visits for lab draw, IV line maintenance and dressing change are required to ensure results are back to the pharmacy for mix/delivery date
- Date of Service: Mondays or Tuesdays
- Process: The pharmacy will send a lab-in-a-box kit from LapCorp. The labs will need to be dropped off at a LabCorp Patient Service Center (PSC) nearest to the patient's home.
- Access: PICC Line DL - Curlin Pump
- The RN must have knowledge of TPN, Curlin Pumps, and access type
- TPN experience is required
- Curlin pump experience is required
- IVIg experience is preferred
- In-home experience is preferred
- Ability to see this patient on the cadence outlined above
- Active BLS is required
- Current General Liability insurance or willingness to purchase is required
- Clean nursing license in the patient's location is required
