Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, perform integration and exploratory testing, and document issues with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and detailed descriptions
- Administer and manage HRIS databases, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server and other relevant database management tools. To include configuring SQL Server users, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access and data integrity
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business requirements for HRIS enhancements and changes and Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications and system configurations
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support end users and technical teams
- Analyze system functionality, performance, and usability to ensure quality and alignment with business requirements
- Collaborate with the HRIS team to plan, design, and implement system integrations, upgrades, enhancements, and modifications for HR and Payroll systems
- Support and enhance custom development, application interfaces, and portal/platform configurations using SQL and other technical tools
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, h uman r esources, or a related field with 6 plus years of experience in HRIS system configuration, enhancements, testing, technical documentation, report writing, querying, data analysis, and training or High School Diploma /General Education Diploma with 9 plus years of above listed experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other database management tools, including the ability to configure users, roles, and permissions
- Proficiency in SQL and various reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, SSRS) with a strong background in data quality assurance and data mining
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG WFM and UKG Pro
- Previous experience in an HRIS or HR related technical support role
- Familiarity with other HR related technologies and hardware infrastructure
- Experience in systems implementation
