Bakery Feeds , a Darling Ingredients brand that is transforming bakery residuals into high-energy feed ingredients, is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in Honey Brook, PA.

If you have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience in a production environment and electrical skills and welding/fabricating skills , Bakery Feeds wants to hear from you!

• 1st and 2nd shift both available . Typically a Monday - Friday schedule, plus on-call rotation.
• 1st shift : 6:00am - 2:30pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a production environment
• Experience troubleshooting and replacing motors, gearboxes and conveyers
• Basic electrical skills
• Basic welding/fabricating skills
  
  

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Assists in the installation of new equipment.
• Works with the Plant Manager and/or other personnel on special fabrication and construction projects.
• Follows preventative maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoots and repairs process machinery and hydraulic equipment.
• Changes electrical breakers and electrical starters; operates voltage, amp, and ohm meters.
• Cleaning and painting of process equipment and facility to maintain plant appearance.
• Facility maintenance
• Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.
• Responsible for using assigned safety equipment including a hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, welding protection, and a safety harness; responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations.
• Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings and may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• All other duties as assigned.
