Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for Information Systems Security Engineer to support our client’s contract needs. This position is located in the RTP, NC area and will be a full remote position.
Responsibilities
- Works with Customer Journey Lead and ESSET Task Area leads to eliminate silos, promote collaboration and teamwork, and provide faster, higher-quality and higher-value delivery
- Creates new APIs to improve integration between EPA systems for use by ServiceNow engineers to maximize integration and orchestration of ServiceNow with current and new end user device support infrastructure, end user applications, EPA monitoring, and orchestration tools
- Ensures focus of security tool integration within the design and test phases to continually mature towards a SecOps automation
- Works with SRE Lead and ServiceNow Architect to identify liminations within the ServiceNow platform and evaluates methods, techniques, and emerging technologies to further AIOps maturity through automation and application of AI/ML capabilities
- Identifies opportunities to automate routine tasks to minimize work-in-progress tasks and evolve to a "NoOps", proactive and preventative operational state for automation of releases, end user fulfillment requests, and operational maintenance tasks
