WPHL-TV, part of the Nexstar Media Group and CW Network, has an exciting opportunity for a Summer internship within our IT department. This internship is an onsite position located at WPHL-TV in Philadelphia and you must be able to provide your own transportation. Candidates must be able to work 15-20 hours per work for a total of 180 hours for the program. The weekly work schedule will be determined by the student and department manager. During this internship, you will also have exposure to all areas of our business, such as Sales, Production, News, and Creative Services.

Responsibilities
- Assist with managing user accounts through Active Directory.
- Assist users with E-mail and desktop support.
- Assist with the Installation and management of servers and workstations with various Windows and Linux OS
- Assist with the administration of antivirus and similar support systems.
- Assist with supporting Engineering, News, Production, Creative Services, and Sales Departments by providing quality support services.
- Assist the Broadcast Engineering team to implement new technologies and technical infrastructure for the station.
- Must complete 500-word summary about your intern experience.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited IT program at a college, university, or technical school.
- Experience with remote desktop applications and VPN.
- Experience in broadcast television or a related field.
- Experience with AV switching, video encoding/decoding and file transcoding.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
