Jr. Accountant Job Details
- Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F
- Pay Rate: $26-$32/hr
- Review and process payroll, ensuring accurate deductions, payments, and compliance with deadlines, including direct deposit and W-2 preparation.
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and benefit bills, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries, financial report preparation, and maintaining records (both digital and physical).
- Provide support for payroll and accounting-related inquiries, offering professional customer service to employees and collaborating with the payroll and accounting teams.
Jr. Accountant Job Requirements:
- Costpoint experience is a must.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Proven experience with account reconciliation and bank reconciliation for accurate financial reporting.
- Ability to work with accounting software and maintain accurate financial records.
