We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Manager with strong expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and hydraulic systems to oversee industrial maintenance operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Maintenance Manager with strong expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and hydraulic systems to oversee industrial maintenance operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the maintenance team in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining PLC-controlled machinery and hydraulic systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on industrial equipment.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) to optimize machine performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ensure all equipment is compliant with OSHA safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs and replacements.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians, providing guidance on advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine efficiency and production processes.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports for equipment performance and repairs.
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modifications (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Extensive experience with hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and actuators.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to work with 480V electrical systems, motor controls, and VFDs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
