Job Details For Brazer & Soldering Technicians

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• 2nd shift 3 pm - 11:30 pm
• 1st shift pay: $20.32 per hour
• 2nd shift pay: $21.57 per hour

Job Responsibilities & Description for Brazer & Soldering Technicians:

• Preparing metal parts: Cleaning, grinding, and positioning metal components to be joined according to specifications.
• Operating brazing equipment: Using torches, heating elements, and other brazing tools to reach the correct temperature for the metal being joined.
• Applying brazing alloy: Precisely applying the appropriate brazing filler material to the joint area.
• Monitoring the brazing process: Observing the molten metal flow and adjusting heat as needed to achieve a proper bond.
• Inspecting brazed joints: Checking for defects, gaps, or inconsistencies in the braze joint.
• Following blueprints and specifications: Accurately interpreting technical drawings to ensure correct assembly and brazing procedures.
• Maintaining equipment: Cleaning and performing basic maintenance on brazing tools and equipment.
  
  

Job Requirements for Brazer & Soldering Technicians:

• Must be able to pass nationwide background check and pass drug screen
• Must have 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Must be able to pass hand tool/measurement assessment
• Commit to showing up to work everyday without calling out
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be communicative in hiring process
