As a part of the Supplier Material Verification Team, the Manager, Supplier Quality and Development of supplier quality inspection position is responsible for the disposition and management of non-conforming material at Raytheon’s third party logistic (3PL) partner GXO. Additionally, this position will act as the quality lead for supplier statement of work (SOWW) compliance as well as driving supplier corrective action report (SCAR) resolution.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

What You Will Do
- Issue, track, and approve Supplier Corrective Action Reports.
- Disposition of non-conforming material, purges, and material in quality hold.
- Daily interaction with other cross- business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/test/design engineering, supply chain, maintenance, production control, finance, and the program management office.
- Ensures the full compliance of company policies, procedures, and the GXO SSOW.
- Assist in workforce planning and forecasting.
- Assist in development and execution of training documentation.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using CORE.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a STEM related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Previous experience with dispositioning on non-conforming material.
- Experience with supplier statement of work compliance.
- Experience identifying root cause and initiate/implementing effective short-term and long-term corrective actions.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance . U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
- Experience in the aerospace/defense industry
- Experience in leveraging 3rd party contractor support to supplement business needs
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)
- Metrics-driven
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
- Knowledge of Supplier Quality Engineering
- Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ)
