Join Trane Technologies as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in LOCATION! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements. You will develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for all new product introductions and product enhancement programs.

Where Is The Work

Onsite: This position has been designated as On-Site. This role is considered a Safety Sensitive role.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.
• Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.
• Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.
• Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
• Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree with an engineering discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with tank chemistry and tuning lift and jig and tooling design.
• Knowledge of APQP tools and process improvement methods
• Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience
• Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.
• Communication skills to articulate voice of the customer.
• Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.
  
  

Compensation

Enter salary/hourly rate here $80,000 - $120,000
