Job Summary
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you may be tasked with: part and assembly 3D modeling of components, sub-assemblies, and final products; developing detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies, and tools; managing engineering and process changes via change control procedures; preparing technical reports and/or related documentation; analyzing and evaluating results to choose the best solutions as they relate to product development, and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in MechanicalEngineering required
- 3D CAD modeling experience with NX experience required
- A minimum of twoyears of mechanical design experience required
- Experience with drafting and product engineering experience preferred
- Previous experience with prototype mockup a plus
- Capable of working independently and as a team member
- Strong work ethic and unwavering integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a learning mindset
- Curiosity, problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Desire to work on a variety of projects
