The Role - In This Role, You Will

Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The Role - In This Role, You Will
- Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of moderate to high complexity for the GPS Hardware product lines.
- Ensure proper packaging of systems to obtain optimal thermal and structural design
- Contribute to hardware engineering requirements capture and analysis in area of domain expertise
- Support root-cause-analysis and technical investigations for Navigation and Sensor Systems designs
- Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of moderate to high complexity
- Provide mechanical engineering design support to manufacturing staff and operators
- You re willing to put in the time and effort it takes to get the job done
- You are always looking for ways to do things better and faster
- You possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to write technical material and present to customers and mid-level managers
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must have 2 years of experience working in Mechanical Design
- Proficient in a 3D CAD solid modeling software package (SolidWorks and/or UG NX preferred)
- Familiar with both thermal and structural testing and analysis
- Experience with FEA software package (ANSYS preferred)
- Experience with military aerospace testing standards
- Experience with plastics and potting materials
- Familiar with 3D printing equipment and processes
