Job Title: Metrology Electronics Engineer- Journeyman
Loc: Huntsville, AL
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Description:
- Experience with component level repair with working knowledge of various types of test equipment (i.e. oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, multi-function test sets, etc.),
- Skilled in the use of said test equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, electro-magnetic and mechanical theories.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies to repair electronic test equipment.
- Soldering experience of both surface mount and through hole.
- Computer skills in MS Suite with networking knowledge of GPIB, serial, and RS232 interfacing of automate test equipment.
- Ability to perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed.
- Related Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or technical trade course and study.
- Preferred: Degree in Engineering Technology.
- 3 years in related MOS or 5 years in technical trade.
- 3 years of experience with component level repair in any related Military Occupational Specialty MOS or 2 years in a technical trade course and study.
