Entry-Level Production Welder- MIG Welding

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Production Welder to join our team. This role involves assembling parts, performing MIG welding operations, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Pay Rate: $21.00/hour with weekly pay- Temporary Tole - potential for hire

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding equipment.
• Assemble parts based on blueprints/drawings and specifications.
• Weld around various shaft diameters and joints, including flat, vertical fillet, and lap joints (7 Ga. to 5/16" metal).
• Follow standard welding parameters to ensure high-quality output.
• Inspect welds visually for compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Accurately record labor hours and inspection results daily.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with linear measuring devices and equipment.
• AWS Certified Welder or ability to pass in-house welding tests.
• Physical ability to:
• Stand for 8-10 hours per day.
• Lift 50 lbs. up to 12-16 times per hour.
