Overview

As Women's Services Nurse Manager, you will have support provided by the Assistant Nurse Manager Women's Services.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Manager, of Women's Services is responsible for the management of clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery in the assigned unit(s). As a Nurse Manager, this position also includes:

  • The role functions include management of human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources while achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations.
  • The Clinical Nursing Manager role demonstrates a high level of integrity, and willingness to take on new challenges and prioritizes associate engagement.
  • This position consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers.

Nurse Manager Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This includes 24/7 accountability for portfolio support.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Nurse Manager Women's Services will need the following:

  • 3 years RN experience
  • 1-year clinical leadership experience
  • High School GED
  • A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
  • Masters Degree (preferred)
  • Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role. Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role.
  • Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
  • Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Founded in 1976, Holy Cross Hospital - Davis in Layton has grown into a 220-bed hospital of choice for the flourishing communities of northern Utah. Over the years we have moved toward an environment of whole-person care by offering a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable, convenient patient experience.

To meet the needs of northern Utah’s growing population, we opened a brand-new 16,000-square-foot healthcare facility in Roy, known as the Weber Campus. The Weber Campus, which is convenient for patients in Ogden, Roy, and other neighborhoods west of I-15, currently offers emergency care, radiology, mammography and 24/7 laboratory services. Located in the northern portion of the Wasatch Front and only minutes from Hill Airforce Base, you can enjoy quick access to Ogden, Salt Lake City, Antelope Island State Park, hiking, biking, and the beautiful outdoor activities that Utah is known for.
