PeopleShare is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Research & Development Chemist with Silicone experience to join our team in Richmond, VA!
Research & Development Chemist (Silicone) Job Details
- Schedule: M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $80,000 - $105,000 (depending on experience)
- Direct Hire
- Medical, vision, dental
- Life insurance starting on day 31.
- 401(k) plan allows participation the first of the month after three months of employment, with a 3% company-paid contribution and full vesting from eligibility.

- New product development, synthesis, experimentation, implementation, scale -up and commercialization.
- Construct experimental set-ups and conduct related experiments and summarize and analyze experimental data.
- Write technical papers or reports or prepare standards and specifications for process, facilities, products or tests.
- Assist with in-house and off site investigation of customer complaints and problems
- Troubleshoot existing products, processes and quality assurance
- Develop and author intellectual property
- Attend trade shows in support of commercial when required (25% Travel Potential )
- PHD in Chemistry or related field
- M.S. / B.S. along with 7 years of similar industrial chemistry related experience
- Experience working with Chemical Instrumentation
- Experience in Product Development Preferred
- ERP Experience Preferred
