We are currently hiring a Patient Access Specialist for one of the top Healthcare Companies in Las Vegas!
Description
- Primarily doing patient check-in, data processing, scanning in paperwork, scheduling appointments, greeting patients in our lobby, and processing referrals.
- Performs patient registration, pre-visit, insurance verification, scheduling, arrival desk and/or departure desk activities.
- Visit preparation, co-pay collection, patient tracking and record tracking ensuring accuracy and an outstanding patient experience.
- Enters and maintains confidential and accurate patient information including patient insurance, billing, and payment information.
Required:
- Diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience within Administrative Healthcare position involving patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing, etc.
- Strong clerical skills (Office Experience, Administrative Background , Healthcare experience is a huge plus, but not fully required)
- Comfortable working with paper (printing from fax machine, sorting)
- Comfortable handling inbound/outbound phone calls from patients
