Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Workstation Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide Tier 2 support for hardware and software, installation, and troubleshooting services across various offices, construction field sites, county stockpiles, and other remote locations within a five-county region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist IT staff with hardware and software support, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Install and configure PC hardware, peripherals, and software in both network and stand-alone environments.
- Use diagnostic software and read technical manuals to resolve issues.
- Travel to various locations within District 9 and its respective counties to provide support.
- Install and troubleshoot Cisco VPN routers and telecommunication equipment.
- Support LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Remedy, MS Windows, RDP, and SCCM environments.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end-users.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Experience with PC hardware/software installation and troubleshooting in an enterprise LAN/WAN environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Cisco VPN routers, Active Directory, and SCCM is a plus.
- The work schedule will be discussed during the interview.
- Occasional travel to other districts and/or overnight travel for training may be required.
