We are looking for a motivated and flexible Physician Assistant to join us full time in Paramus NJ. The Physician Assistant will be working alongside a physician, covering one SNF location per day. Ideally, the incoming Physician assistant has inpatient PM&R, internal medicine and/or SNF experience. We prefer the incoming Physician assistant be within 30 miles of our locations, as to keep the commute to less than one hour. We promote an excellent work life balance with no call or weekends!

Job Responsibilities
- Perform appropriate follow-up care throughout the SNF/rehabilitation stay.
- Round on patients, medication management, track patient progress, remove obstacles to functional progress, and improve quality of life.
- Attend to caseload by having acute awareness of all referral sources and potential referral sources
- Maintain an active patient list and diligently capture all referrals.
- Engage with clinical staff on a regular basis and maintain a professional, collegial relationship with other facility physicians, caregivers, administrators, and directors.
- Engage with patients and families during care and communicate clearly to promote understanding of treatment options and procedures. Set expectations with facility, patients, and families.
- Attend facility rehab team meetings.
- Documentation: Follows protocol and guidelines for documentation, billing, and coding.
- Actively collaborate with the treating physicians and Physician Assistants (PCPs, Orthopedists, etc.)
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program (PA-C)
- PA license in NJ
- Inpatient PMR, internal medicine and/or SNF clinical experience.
- Willingness and flexibility to provide coverage across multiple locations (Morris, Bergen, Passaic, and Essex Counties)
- Live within 30 miles of our SNF locations
- $125k to start plus bonus compensation potential.
