Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, demonstrating advanced knowledge and specialization.
- 5 years in software engineering, a combination of data engineering and software engineering will be considered
- 2 years dedicated to cloud data platforms, preferably on GCP
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying cloud-based data pipelines and microservices using GCP tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
- Deep understanding of SOA and microservices architectures within a cloud context.
- Competence in front-end and back-end technologies for developing and integrating data access and visualization layers (e.g., React, Node.js).
- Experience with database management, including both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases, along with columnar databases like BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and implementation of security measures such as RBAC, encryption, and data masking in cloud environments.
