Responsibilities
- Own the supply chain and sourcing activities for Microsoft Devices Chipset including negotiating commercial agreements, negotiating cost, optimizing the collaboration between the teams and developing long term strategy to grow a robust partnership.
- Engage with cross-functional leadership including architecture, engineering, product management, and business teams to determine best design solution and supply base to deliver that solution at optimal supply chain and cost.
- Manage contracting activities with Legal and ensure contracts reflect appropriate business terms, IP protection, etc.
- Cost and operations management: Build multi-sourcing strategies to mitigate risk and drive appropriate competition.
- Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and drive resolution to systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-times.
- Provide thought leadership and manage strategic initiatives with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support Microsoft Devices objectives and strategies.
- Manages the supplier relationship, leading and coordinating efforts to drive supplier performance improvement across all areas of the business.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 6 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
- OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6 years industry experience in consumer electronics.
- 6 years industry experience in negotiating complex contracts and deals.
- Demonstrated experience developing and nurturing key stakeholder relationships, including proficiency in storytelling and influencing skills.
- Doctorate in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 5 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
- OR Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 8 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
- OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field AND 12 years experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, engineering, operations, or relevant sales-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6 years industry experience in consumer electronics in the semiconductor and silicon space.
- Experience in Chipset or Wireless sourcing or sales.

Salary : $137,600 - $267,000
