Our client, a leader in the heavy industry sector, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Manager, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Marietta, OH

Pay Range: $90,000 - $105,000

What's the Job?

• Define and deploy the entity Procurement strategy ensuring its alignment with the Global Procurement Strategy and business unit requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate supplier performance.
• Work with the finance team to create and manage procurement budgets, monitoring expenses and seeking cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to placing orders and receiving goods/services.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and legal requirements while preparing regular reports on procurement activities.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in procurement & supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in heavy industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
