Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $93,700 - $136,620
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls team in Riverdale Park, Maryland.
Your Impact
Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with all levels of management to confirm and track compliance with contract terms and memorandums of understanding.
- Solicit inputs to, and draft updates to, frequent periodic progress reports for state and federal agencies and partners.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to progress reporting, including proofreading for consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Complete routine, frequent deadlines for a variety of project reports. Collaborate with project team to collect information and provide finished reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with respect to contract compliance.
- Advance project controls dashboards in Excel or other data tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, data, business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Project Controls.
- Transportation, Highway and Construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Managed delivery of written reports including quality control processes.
- Proficiency with managing data using the Microsoft suite, including Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. Demonstrable advanced Excel skills with examples. (IFS formulas, working in tables, array formulas, e.g.).
- Familiarity with SharePoint lists, power automate, and Microsoft database tools preferred.
- Familiarity with project scheduling preferred.
- Confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and organization while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders.
