Key Responsibilities
- Source and build relationships with new suppliers.
- Ensure purchased products and materials comply with specified technical requirements.
- Negotiate favorable purchase terms and conditions.
- Assess and monitor supplier performance, providing constructive feedback as necessary.
- Ensure on-time deliveries and address any discrepancies or supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Develop and implement effective procurement solutions.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline preferred.
- Certification such as CPM or APICS is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business software applications, including purchasing and resource planning systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
