Quality Assurance Technician Job Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM
- Pay Rate: $45,760-$58,240 Per Year
- Location: Bethlehem, PA 18018
- Manage, approve, or reject all raw materials, packaging materials, labeling and finished products.
- Monitor process controls (CCPs, Allergen Control, GMPs, Product Specifications) to ensure adherence to all food safety and quality programs.
- Perform Pre-Operational Inspections as required (visual inspections, swabbing).
- Perform sample collection and analysis for adherence to specification.
- Troubleshoot and take appropriate action where necessary.
- Review all production records for legibility, accuracy, and completeness.
- Manage document control for production and quality records to ensure the most current procedure revisions are consistently utilized.
- Lead and manage investigations and corrective actions as appropriate.
- Engage in learning and working in other areas of production as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by the QA Supervisor
- Proficiency with data entry and basic computer skills required.
- Must be able to lift at least 35lbs.
- Ability to reach, pull, push, stop and bend frequently.
- Ability to stand for approximately 80% of 12-hour shift.
- Must be able to problem solve, show a high attention to detail and be very self-motivated
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
- Experience in food manufacturing facility preferred.
- Experience in record keeping and data entry is a plus.
