Qualifications And Requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional Requirements Include
Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 90 days after hire date.
Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date
NIH Stroke Certification completed with 90 days.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

6:1 patient nurse ratio
Takes all neurosurgery, neurology, and bariatric surgery patients, but also admits other diagnosis.
