SAP EWM Lead
Job Responsibilities
- The SAP EWM Lead will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand warehouse management requirements. Design end-to-end SAP EWM solutions based on industry best practices and business needs. Create and review detailed functional specifications for SAP EWM configuration and custom developments.
- This person will lead the implementation of SAP EWM modules by ensuring alignment with business processes. Configure SAP EWM settings to meet specific business and operational requirements. Collaborate with the technical team on custom developments and integrations with other SAP modules. Design and implement interfaces to connect SAP EWM with third-party logistics providers and other relevant systems.
- Be able to toggle between project work and on-going support and continuously evaluate and optimize SAP EWM processes for efficiency and performance. Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
- Create comprehensive documentation for SAP EWM configurations, custom developments, and integrations. Conduct training sessions for end-users and support teams to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing system support.
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving SAP EWM-related issues. Collaborate with the Process Improvement team to address user-reported problems and implement timely solutions.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP EWM developments, updates, and industry trends. Evaluate and recommend new functionalities and features that align with business goals.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and architecture.
- Extensive experience in SAP EWM implementation and configuration.
- Extensive experience in S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and best practices.
- Production Planning/Manufacturing integration to EWM is a must.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Process Industry experience preferred.
- Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) and or Conveyor system integration to EWM desired.
- SAP EWM certification is a plus.
- Dairy experience is a plus.
