We are currently looking for a Senior Analog Design Engineer to support our customers within the Strategic Microelectronics Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane.
This role will support the Strategic Microelectronics Division
- Participate in integrated circuit and board level analog design and analysis using schematic entry and Spice simulation.
- Work with commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for Design, Simulation, Monte Carlo Analysis, Physical Layout and Verification.
- Lead design teams and mentor new designers.
- Read and understand requirements documents and translate into appropriate block level architecture.
- Translate requirements into a detailed design specification.
- Translate requirements and design specification into test bench simulations.

Minimum Requirements
- B.S in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
- 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Must have analog design experience and a strong understanding of the semiconductor industry
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be willing to work independently and collaborate on team projects
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance)
- Ability to travel, as required
- Master's Degree in any engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and techniques in current commercial technologies
- Strong understanding of board level and package level parasitics
- Experience with amplifier and data converter design
- Experience with unique Deep-sub-micron technology effects
- Experience with high power bipolar foundry technologies
- Experience supporting production issues such as field failures
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems from a user’s standpoint
- Experience with full-custom layout methodologies
- Experience supporting production test and using design for test methodologies
- Experience with design for packaging methodologies
- Active Secret Security Clearance
