Responsibilities
- Assist in updating our Nelnet Careers social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Handshake).
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, images, videos, and stories.
- Monitor social media channels for trending topics, news, and relevant conversations.
- Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with our Recruiting and Corporate Marketing teams to develop social media campaigns and promotions.
- Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or a related field.
- Rising Sophomore or Junior
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate engaging content.
- Experience using social media management tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools to track and measure social media performance is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
