This career step requires intermediate level experience. Plans, designs, or analyzes network components, infrastructure, and architecture in order to support and execute against our strategic technology goals, including both Wireline and Wireless components.
Provides short- and long-term planning for access network technologies, including analysis, solution recommendations, and the implementation of said strategy.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
This request is for (2) new Specialist – OSP Design Engineer in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, FL. This critical position is approved for Building Industry Consultant (BIC) Engineer role with workload volume, ASE cycle time expectations, and to meet Business Unit objectives. Responsible for planning, design and analysis of network program and portfolio builds in the South Florida market.
Job Contribution
Intermediate level technical professional. Subject matter technical knowledge within a discipline and sound understanding of ATT technologies. An experienced engineer, who demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the engineering position, design tool and databases.
Possesses leadership skills, manages large-scale projects and programs, interfaces with strategic vendors, and is capable of mentoring peers and new hires. Recognized as a subject matter expert. Capable of representing Area Manager, when necessary.
Education
Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Math, Science, or Engineering.
Experience
Typically requires 3-5 years experience. Technical
