The SJCC is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Sports and Wellness Team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a part time job. Candidates should have a customer service experience, an outgoing personality, ability to work independently and as a team, possess problem solving skills, computer skills, and available for weekends.
The Sports and Wellness Desk associate will collaborate closely with the personal trainers, group exercise instructors, floor associates and babysitting staff. Individuals needed for the following shifts: Sunday 8-12, Wednesday 4-8, Thursday 2-8, Friday 2-6.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Verify membership of all entering Sports and Wellness areas.
- Collect fees for programs, personal training packages and other necessary Sports and Wellness fees for members and non-members.
- Answer phones for the center and other assigned administrative tasks as deemed necessary.
- Communicate with customers about upcoming events, new programs and membership status and opportunities.
- Greet members by name and ask it they need assistance.
- Assist and address all members' questions/concerns while providing outstanding customer service.
- Monitor fitness floor
- Assist in babysitting room when needed
- Six (6) months customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Be highly organized, flexible, and creative, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Dependable with a positive "can do" attitude
