The Senior Financial, Underwriting Consultant– will lead the underwriting initiatives to ensure that the Community Based Specialty Pharmacy Network is appropriately priced for risk level. This individual will ensure that this network meets its strategic profit and growth objectives and is managed within the risk tolerance guidelines. This individual will be accountable for overseeing the production of the rating and underwriting services for new business and/or existing accounts. They will participate with senior management in the development and implementation of underwriting policy, marketing and business strategy.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead our efforts to strategically price the Community Based Specialty Pharmacy Network (CBSPN) for new business and current clients
- Provide a knowledgeable leadership presence in sales and client interactions to drive positive economic outcomes for all parties
- Diagnose and solve difficult client problems to find solutions that are satisfactory to the client and are economically accretive to the business
- Leverage business knowledge to propose solutions to business challenges regularly in a dynamic work environment
- Lead the development of financial models to assist in the economic analysis of market alternatives
- Evaluate and recommend alternative strategies based on economic analyses and trends
- Collaborate with the Sales and Proposals teams to project pricing and profit for a range of services and products the company offers
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of financial modeling and analytics
- 3 years of experience with underwriting
- 2 years of experience interacting and presenting in a client or executive level setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced Excel skills
- Tableau experience
- Financial consulting experience
- Sales and Account management experience
- Financial Forecasting
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to translate big picture ideas into client objectives
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently across multiple projects
- Self-motivated and eager to dive into new projects
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
