Primary Responsibilities
- Designs, codes, tests and debugs applications and components that meet all technical specifications and business requirements per assigned work items
- Work closely with lead engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
- Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions
- Operational Excellence – build, deploy, monitor, and operation of production services
- Mentors other software engineers
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in full lifecycle of software development projects in an agile environment along with building web applications and RESTful web services
- 2 years of experience in MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or other similar relational database management system
- 2 years of .NET Core or similar object-oriented programming language
- 2 years of experience with Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks/libraries
- 2 years of experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments
- 2 years of experience with CI/CD and test automation
- 2 years of experience building cloud-native applications in Azure or similar cloud service provider
- United States citizenship
- If you are offered this position, you will be required to provide extensive personal information to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance as a condition of your employment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering or related field and/or relevant experience
- 2 years of experience with Domain Driven Design and Event Driven Architecture
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting applications running within Kubernetes
- 2 years of cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning & configuration management
- 2 years of experience with networking and internet protocols
- 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- 1 years of experience with GitOps principles (and tools like Flux or Argo CD)
- 1 years of experience with Encryption, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), understanding of OWASP
- 1 years of experience with LeSS / Large Scale Scrum
