Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex Excel spreadsheets for accounting reconciliation.
- Submit government contract information and billing on designated platforms.
- Support and provide backup for accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Prepare and enter journal entries as needed.
- Reconcile accounts against financial statements using Avalara software.
- Update M2M foreign currency data monthly.
- Assist with monthly charges and other accounting tasks.
- Perform various customer service functions.
- Maintain and manage sales tax-exempt accounts.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and file management.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and strong organizational skills.
- Education: Minimum of two years of college or related training (or a combination of education and experience).
- Experience: At least three years of accounting and/or tax experience.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience with Windows-based database accounting systems (Made2Manage/M2M is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
