We emphasize automation of operational tasks and are seeking an operational engineer with a developer mindset. What You Will Do
- You will manage network protocols, software, and infrastructure including VPNs, DNS, and network security.
- You will participate in incident response for customer and stakeholder issues.
- You will demonstrate knowledge and practical experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, or GitHub. You will use your proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines following best practices.
- You will utilize your skills in managing application and infrastructure configurations, with a focus on handling sensitive information securely.
- You will use your strong communication and analytical skills, enabling you to convey complex design concepts persuasively to diverse audiences.
- You will be proficient in work item tracking, capturing service notes, and meticulous documentation.
- You will bring your proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-class on-premises and cloud solutions from concept to production release.
- You will have a solid understanding of Linux OS, Git, SSL, SSH, and certificate management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- 4 years of experience developing and maintaining pipeline in Azure DevOps or GitLab or GitHub for applications and services in the public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Expert level networking experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with automation on Linux and Windows using Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and bash.
- Deep understanding of Docker, helm, and managed Kubernetes including deployments, config map, pods ingress controllers, load balancers.
- Experience with relational databases.
