Baseline Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
  • Preferred graduation year of 2027/2028

QA Software Testing Intern

About The Team

We are a small team that designs, implements, and supports the Quality applications, including audit planning, action tracking, survey design, results reporting, etc. The team is also responsible for producing end-user documentation, tutorials, and other technical information for several web applications.

The team is distributed between Europe and the US.

What we’re looking for

We have an open position for 10-12 weeks during the summer. The position is based in the Costa Mesa, California office.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding software requirements and translating them into test cases
  • Executing tests on new and existing software functionalities
  • Identifying and documenting defects or bugs
  • Collaborating with developers to fix issues found and retest
  • Reporting on test results and overall software quality
  • Develop new material for tutorials and workflows and incorporate the latest application changes within existing material.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • C#, jQuery and SQL preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, especially PowerPoint.
  • Very good communication skills in English. 
  • Proactive, communicative and creative personality.
  • Be willing to take new challenges independently and as part of a team.

The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
