Essential Job And Department Specific Functions
- In collaboration with the clinic leadership, instructs, and monitors the work of nursing/support staff relative to assigned area.
- In collaboration with the clinic leadership and Nursing Education, plans and structures the nursing/support personnel’s orientation program. Plans daily orientee assignments. Educates nursing/support personnel orientees concerning policies and procedures. Documents all observations and submits recommendations to clinic leadership.
- Performs on-going assessment and provides input to clinic leadership regarding staff performance evaluations. 4. Assists Nursing Education in planning, presenting, evaluating and revising the staff development activities and policies and procedures.
- Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Michigan license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Two years ambulatory experience in area of specialization.
