Summary

Essential Functions
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments, gathering requirements from various stakeholders (clinicians, administrators, data team).
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications.
- Analyze existing data sources and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Create and maintain product backlog items, prioritizing tasks based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure solutions are technically sound and meet requirements.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and effective execution of projects.
- Track progress against project milestones and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications.
- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and solicit feedback.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
Required Experience
- 3 years of experience as a product analyst or in a similar role within a data-driven environment, preferably in healthcare.
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- 2 years’ of development experience with SQL
- 2 years’ experience project documentation using JIRA or SmartSheets
