Position Summary
Assists the Associate Registrar for Data and Technology in analysis, requirements definition, and data validation to support the implementation and maintenance of data integrations that require data within the registrar’s purview. Works with the OIT Information Delivery (reporting) team to update and enhance the reporting system data models when new technology solutions are implemented. Serves as a backup to the IT support specialist responsible for reporting in the registrar’s office. Supports Office of the University Registrar staff in troubleshooting issues related to systems and technology processes the office oversees.
Key Responsibilities
Assists the Associate Registrar for Data and Technology in analysis, requirements definition, and data validation to support the implementation and maintenance of data integrations that require data within the registrar’s purview. This includes both registrar- owned applications as well as applications owned by offices throughout the university. Meets with university departments to discuss and understand requirements for data requests; documents and synthesizes the requests; and communicates requirements with OIT . Maintains an inventory of systems to which the office has approved data integration.
Works with the OIT Information Delivery (reporting) team to update and enhance the reporting system data models when new technology solutions are implemented. Assesses changes being made to registrar-related systems and processes, and, if warranted based on consultation, requests OIT to add additional fields to the reporting system or change the way the data is modeled. Validates data model changes, communicates changes as appropriate, and ensures existing reports are updated if needed.
Serves as a backup to the IT support specialist responsible for reporting in the registrar’s office. Provides support to individuals within and outside the registrar’s office as it relates to existing or new reports in the reporting system, by writing new reports, updating existing reports, and analyzing existing reports to answer questions. Writes and updates reports, as needed, to support functions within the Data and Technology team.
Supports Office of the University Registrar staff in troubleshooting issues related to systems and technology processes the office oversees. Serves as a point of contact within the registrar’s office for assistant registrars and other staff to seek support for technology system issues. Provides backup support for planning and preparing for software upgrades or implementation of new software and technology solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree by start date or equivalent combination of education and related experience will receive full consideration.

Target hiring range for this role is $58,972 – $78,139. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position, while also considering internal equity.
This position has the option for hybrid or fully remote work. Flexplace agreements will be determined upon hire.
This position must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 and 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)
