40 MILE RADIUS RULE - NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
Length of contract: 13 weeks
Hours/week guaranteed: 36
Shift/hours: 12hr Nights (6:30PM – 6:30 AM) Blocked: Friday – Sunday
Float Requirements: N/A
On Call/Call Back Requirements: May be called to cover staffing issues/call-ins
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every weekend/every other holiday
Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: MLS or MLT certification through ASCP plus diploma or transcripts.
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year preferred
Charting Experience Required: N/A
Required Skillset: Laboratory Generalist capable of working Chemistry, Micro, UA, Blood Bank, Hemo/Coag, and Phlebotomy.
Additional Skillset: Work independently, reliable, flexible, and confident in experience. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates
The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine tests in a medical laboratory to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program and successful completion of national exam administered by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathology preferred and may be required per state/contract
- One year experience as a ML required unless certified as an MLT in state practicing
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
