Job Summary

The Role:

The Ticket Taking Supervisor is a working supervisor who is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the ticket taking staff within the venue. Duties may also include management functions.

Job Functions

• Direct and supervise ticket taking staff and other employees performing similar services as directed.
• Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• On an ongoing basis, lead and train staff to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.
• Manage breaks for employees that follow all federal and state guidelines.
• Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations.
• Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
• Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Oversee productivity and work assignments of the ticket taking staff and communicate with the management (or designated Manager) any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.
• Evaluate ticket taker team members on a seasonal basis.
• Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.
• Role model and enforce safety, health, and general policies.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Gates Security Manager or Operations Manager.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
• Strong relationship building and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
